The last full moon of 2023 was quite the sky show, in my location anyway. The moon was a glowing orb, radiating a circle of light around it that contained ethereal rainbow color changes as the light particles interacted with the water droplets in the clouds. The moon that night was sailing on an ethereal sea of steadily north-moving clouds that were sometimes whispy, sometimes more solid. Impossible to capture on film, this is my attempt to record the show with watercolors.

This ~ 4.5” x 6” unframed original artwork was made with watercolor and ink on heavy water color paper. It ships flat in a heavy paperboard envelope. The master art archive number, title and artist signature are on the back of the piece.
