my journals and art panels, on gorgeous live edge wood shelves!

spotted at the willow room in lakewood, ohio!

a blurry photo of just-arrived press check sheets from my upcoming journal set with chronicle books. [it's really dark and dreary today].

commemorating last summer’s oregon coast camping tour with my friend kati and her girls. coincidentally it’s kati’s birthday today. press check sheets make excellent wrapping paper. and a good excuse to have fun with washi tape!

morning project completed: the made-to-order & offset poster sections in the shop have now been reorganized by category. now it’s even easier to find a favorite!

i’m not sure why it took me so long to think to make these! last week when i realized that finally my life is not so crazy & i can actually think straight, this is the first thing that came to mind… i. must. make. stickers! and now here we are a week later and they’ve arrived hot off the press. it’s grand owning the company sometimes!

right?! back me up on this one! if these sell well i’ll make a whole mess of ‘em!

what started out as a simple solution to not being able to find the perfect wallet 10+ years ago blossomed into a career of sewing and repurposing old bedsheets and perfecting other small fabric wallets and cozies, then even segued into designing my own custom fabrics.

my poor hands, shoulders and back have endured much abuse along the way and really need to retire from the constant pain!

at midnight tonight, my sewn goods line officially retires. want one last piece of it?

before this past weekend of sales events & then illness [no surprise after the life i've been living lately], i hung a collection of my anima posters at the beaumont location of ristretto roasters for the month. gotta love their coffee cup graphics, and how classy does my work look in that space?!

you can check them out in person at 3520 ne 42nd avenue, at fremont until december 3.

finally had a chance to update my etsy shop, just in time for the holiday season!

back in my studio this week, and it’s been busy catching up! hope to get to regular blog posts next week!

phew! all time-capsule garlands finally untangled, photographed, and ready for online re-debut! which now will have to wait til after my mom’s major surgery that finally got scheduled for later this week, and after we’ve made it past the first few days of her recovery. prepping the studio today for a few weeks’ closure. sorry, and thanks for your patience!

while i’m finishing up an as-yet-undisclosed project here in the studio, my printers have been busy working on printing more notecards: oldies-but-goodies and a few new designs! that’s grace, pinball‘s shop cat, supervising the press sheets for my latest print run!

look for new farm anima & herb plant notecards on my shop site late next week! if you’re on my monthly mailing list [sign up on the shop site], you’ll be the first to know about these, and several other upcoming items!

i know it took a while for me and chronicle to get our act together and give you what you’ve been begging for from me, more journals, but here you go!…

debuting mid-june: the succulents eco-journal! i already have my advance copies of these and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it. so much so that i’ve brought a few copies to the past few in-town sales events – and other people love it too. it even outsold the perennial favorite poppies journal!

debuting mid-july: the butterflies eco-journal! two finished copies arrived in the mail the other day and i squealed in excitement! oh! i love this one too!

in the same package were two finished copies of the new succulents eco-notecards keepsake box set, also debuting mid-july! yeah! so fun to see the finished items after months of designing and prototypes!
