Yup, this is truly a Dutch farming community! Having a pair of these myself as a kid, I began talking to this gentleman & ended up learning all about vending at the various farmers markets on the island (he makes knotted rope items, like the cane shown here). Maybe later this summer I'll join in… #whidbeyisland
