Embracing plums. All of my adulthood I’ve avoided them, haunted by childhood memories of August’s sickly hot, sticky, stinky, wasp-filled orchard harvest days. But the lone plum tree on the land I now share with 8 other households has set fruit for the first time. While I still can’t bring myself to eat them straight from the tree, I’m willing to try cooking & baking with them. Baby steps!What are your favorite plum recipes?
