now ready for viewing! above is a spectacularly bad photo taken just after we’d hung the 10 new posters. each digital print is a limited edition of 10 pieces, and each is/will be hand colored with neon dots for added sparkle! the farm is located at 10 se 7th ave. / burnside ave.

…that’s my studio! i discuss it and show off some of the many drawers, boxes and shelves on the craftzine blog.
this is what my studio looked like yesterday morning, prepping the one-of-a-kind garden growth posters for my upcoming show at farm cafe. i felt like thomas kincaid putting the finishing neon dot touches on all of them to add some sparkle! i’m in love with touches of neon on dark colors lately.
these will be up at the restaurant by the weekend. i’ll have a more formal posting about them later today… the restaurant people are so low-key we still have to decide what day to hang them and have the opening!
later in the day, i stopped by my printer’s studio to chat about upcoming projects and spied these on the production room floor… my new notecards in progress! that’s the “cm” in the “cmyk” printing process, just two more ink passes to go. the finished cards should be up in my shop early next week.
after that, i met up with the elemental crew to work on our pieces for our upcoming show at together gallery.
we’re down to the wire as far as finishing everything – two weeks! – but with 5 of us it doesn’t feel so overwhelming!
i’m back and recovered from urban craft uprising in seattle this past weekend! so much fun, and a treat to meet all of you in seattle!
sunday morning the weather was finally back to my liking [overcast and cool], and i was able to get to the sculpture park before the show to take in some water sights, sounds and smells. sigh, this is the only thing portland doesn’t have! i miss being next to the ocean.
meanwhile, down in portland, lucy was having a blast charming the staff at her new boarding place! this was the first time i’d left her in stranger’s hands since she became blind, but it looks like she did fine!
we both had different but great weekends! this upcoming weekend lucy and i will again be doing an event together in the wine country area of oregon, in newberg… come say hello!
this weekend i’ll be at the exhibition hall in seattle with 119 other vendors. if you’re in seattle, come enjoy the a/c with me! the weather lately has been about 20 degrees more than i can handle!

somehow i missed this book when it first came out! but i ordered it and it came in the mail this week and i couldn’t be happier flipping through it during our first proper heat wave, once the days get too hot to work! there’s lots of great pattern designs and colors, as you’d expect from the blogger of print & pattern.
and, hey, there’s my work on pages 120 + 121! well, will you look at that!
